IMTS 2024 Preview: Slant-bed lathe with live tooling capabilities to be highlighted

Hurco Companies will demonstrate multiple machines at the show in booth 338319 including the TM8MYi turning centre and VM ONE.

The TM8MYi is a slant-bed lathe with live tooling capabilities and a Y-axis that makes it possible to machine a pocket with straight walls and flat bottoms. It performs off-centre machining operations and features a BMT55 turret.

The VM ONE mill has 26 by 16 by 14 in. of X/Y/Z travels and requires 72.5 by 70.6 by 87.2 in. (W by D by H) of space. This 3-axis, general purpose machining centre also has a belt-driven, 8,000-RPM CAT 40 BIG Plus spindle.
